If I ever needed socks, today would be the day!

Well let's start with 6-8 inches of snow, then rain?! Ugg, well when I awakened this morning at 2 am to start my day, nothing, absoloutly nothing, dry as a bone, not even a wind.  The snow was supposed to start at 12 am, but, weather man was wrong, again.  Anyway I arrived at work and good news, get what needed to be done, so you can get outta here! Yes!  Two and a half hours later, fin! But still, it was a mess out there, of course not to my surprise no plows, but everything was fine until, oops caught in a ditch, but only for five minutes, very proud, got out myself!  But it's a good thing I started to knit socks, cause my tootsies are FREEZING!  Yesterday as well I made sort of like a monkey bread muffin, except made with rasin bread and STRUESEL, soooooo goood, I could eat that streusel with a spoon, warm those in the toaster oven with some hot cocoa and I'll be warm in no time, with the additon of socks!

I know I won't get a reply, yet, but how's the weather in your neck of the woods, and did you do anything crafty lately?

(P.S. excuse my spelling I'm just too lazy to check today!)

Thinking of you.....

My favorite, Le Arc de Triomphe <3
Well, I am exhausted! Even with my one and a half hour nap.  A hards day work from 3 am to 11am will do that to you.  Oh, by  the way Happy St. Patricks Day, Erin go Bragh!  Planned on watching part of the festivities on tv, but could not keep my eyes open, o well, there's always next year!  Even though I am proud to be Irish, and my thoughts should be consumed with Ireland, and dreaming of going there one day, I can't stop thinking about what my life could be in Paris, it's killing me......slowly.  And it dosn't help that I'm watching somethings gotta give, where they are playing classic French music.  I am well aware of their bureaucratic ways, and how it is a city not a fairy tail, but I can't help but wonder.

Newbie!

Hi!  This is going to be a VERY slow start!  I'm new to blogging, but hopefully I'll stick with it!  To start my name is Bri and I am a pastry chef, that loves rasberry tarts, they are the best, at least when I was in France!  I fell in love with Paris when I visited through my pastry program and am working on living and working in good ol' Paris!  On my blog I'll be sharing recipes and talk about daily life in a small town as well as other crafts that keep me occupied.  That's all for now, au revoir!
